Meet the Owner

My name is Destini, and I’m a Christian Baker who discovered a passion for baking in high school. What began as baking and selling desserts to friends, classmates, and family quickly grew into a passion for serving others and creating moments where people feel cared for. I loved seeing people enjoy what I made, and that joy led me to take a leap of faith in college and start my first business, College Girl Desserts. After graduating, that passion continued to grow into what is now Chosen Desserts

At Chosen Desserts, my mission is to bring faith and flavor together in every bite. Rooted in Christian values, each dessert is made with care, intention, and a heart for service. My hope is that every experience reflects God’s goodness and leaves people feeling encouraged, welcomed, and cared for.

When I’m not baking, I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews, reading, and crocheting clothing pieces. These interests reflect the heart behind my work through creativity, patience, and intention in everything I do.

Why We are More Than Just Desserts

For us, Chosen Desserts is more than desserts. It’s about serving others with purpose, humility, and love. The name Chosen reflects what we believe that every person is intentionally chosen, seen, and worthy of care, and that serving others is a calling, not just a service.

Chosen Desserts is rooted in faith and guided by the belief that what we offer goes beyond what’s on the cart. The dessert bar becomes a place of connection, where guests are welcomed, engaged, and invited to create something uniquely their own. Each interaction is an opportunity to serve with excellence, kindness, and intention, trusting that even small moments can be used for something greater.

This business carries our commitment to honoring God through service. From resident events and private celebrations to corporate gatherings and open houses, Chosen Desserts exists to create joyful, meaningful experiences that reflect faith in action. It reminds us that we are chosen to serve, chosen to show up well, and chosen to create spaces where people feel cared for and celebrated.
